Forensic science always begins by collecting evidence at a crime scene. Let us examine the O.J. Simpson crime scene... First, check out the following site: http://pages.infinit.net/reparvit/nicole12.html which lists 101 PIECES OF EVIDENCE THAT PROVE O.J. SIMPSON MURDERED EX-WIFE NICOLE BROWN-SIMPSON & RON GOLDMAN. With all this evidence against him it seems O.J. got away with the murders of Nicole Brown-Simpson and Ron Goldman.
Next, please view several sites about the O.J. Simpson Criminal and Civil trials. As you review this chilling story, reflect on the evidence and how both trials turned out (Youtube has excellent clips from the trial).

The Criminal Trial Prove him not guilty after all that evidence and DNA results proving he must of done it. Its un believable what must of been on the jury's mind when they were giving the case and all those witness's and evidence. If i was on the Trial with the overwhelming evidence infront of my eyes theres no way i would of let the guy walk away with it. The civil case however said he had wrongfully done the two murders and had to pay money, no jail time just money, which he had plenty of and he is now living on 25,000 a month income from judgement-proof pension fund. I cant beleive there was so much evidence in this case and the guy wasnt convicted. Something must of happened to the jury or something we dont know, because with alll those witness's and evidence towards OJ its a miracle from god for him that he was convicted "Not GuiltY".
with all the DNA testing and the blood found at the murder scene which was OJ simpson's, he is obviously guilty. it is hard to belive that with that much evidence that point directly to OJ he got off easy, just has to pay money, and he gets 25,000 a month through the Judgement-proff pension fund. there has to be something else that we dont know about, because all the evidence pointed directly to OJ Simpson. OJ should of been convicted GUILTY!
After all of the evidence from the crime scene it is unbelievable that O.J. was not convicted of manslaughter on both his ex-wife and ron goldman...The criminal trial goes to prove just how easy it was for a celebrity with determined, hardworking lawyers could get away with murder, and the civil trial did give some relief towards the families, however it could never give them back their children. Some of the evidence may have not been collected right, however the amount of evidence that was collected correctly should have justified enough to put O.J. behind bars for life.
O.J Simpson was guilty. It is hard to believe that the jury would be able to look past all the DNA evidence that was pointing to O.J. Not only was there outstanding DNA evidence that pointed at Simpson, there was plenty of fiber and other evidence that would convict anyone else that would be O.J's shoes. Its funny that with money you could do anything. O.J did kill his wife, but all that he has to do is pay a little 25,000 dollar fine.
Every single piece of evidence proves OJ Simpson guilty. Nicole Brown Simpson had been telling her friends and family that he was going to kill her and that she was scared, but no seemed to care, which was very weird. DNA showed that blood found at the scene of Brown's murder was likely O.J. Simpson's. The odds it could have come from anyone but Simpson were about one in 170 million, and Simpson's hair was found on Goldman's shirt. What are the chances that the murderer (if it wasn't OJ) had OJ's hair on their colthing and it fell on to Goldman's shirt? The bloody footprints were identified as made from a pair of Bruno Magli shoes. These shoes were quite expensive and rare. Simpson swore under oath that "I never would have owned those ugly shoes!" However, three weeks later, a reporter cam forward with many pictures of OJ wearing the shoes at Arrowhead Staduim a few years earlier. So with all of this and much more, he looks pretty guilty to me.
The trials of this crime prove him to be not guilty, but there are 101 pieces of evidence in this case that try to prove him guilty, but after these trials they cant seem to prove it. I dont know how O.J Simpson got away with this, but he managed to get out of it. With all the witnesses and evidence they have, im sure they could find a way to prove him to be guilty, but for just some reason he is proven to be NOT GUILTY!
Personally I think the whole Trail was completely rediculous. There is no way that O.J. should have gotten away with just being guilty at the civil trial. He should have been found guilty of murder of both his wife and her lover. He shouldnt just have to pay the families of the ones he murdered he should be spending the rest of his life in jail. I think that the jury was off their rocker and they must have been payed off or drugged by O.J. because nobody in their right mind would look at all the evidence that pointed to O.J. and say that he was not guilty. Personally I wouldnt be surprised if someone payed a hit man to kill O.J. for the wrong he has done and gotten away with.
The O.J. Simpson trials proved that O.J. Simpson was innocent, yet there is atleast one hundred pieces of evidenve proving him guilty. From the DNA, to the fiber pieces, to the matching gloves, to the many witness confessions and statements he was still found an innocent man. O.J. Simpson was famous and because of this he had money, which is what made him get away with murder. O.J. Simpson did kill his wife, but all he needed was money and he was a clear man. It is amazing that someone can get away with such a horrible act. Not only that, but Simpson now has a book bragging about how he got away and "how he would have done it". I think it was absolutly stupid how he could have gotten away with this, but I guess when it comes down to it it is all about money.
While everyone beileved and still beileves today that O.J Simmson was quilty the jury convicted him not quilty. what they did was wrong seeing as how all the evidence pointed to O.J and there were no other suspects. O.J. Simpson was let go with only fines to pay, its unbeilevable that even thought they said he was not quilty that the jury could of let him just walk away. After all the evidence collected that pointed to him he is the one now being paid a 25,000 income from judgement-proof pension fund.
There are over a 100 pieces of evidence that it was O.J who commited the crime but yet he is not guilty. It is hard to believe that someone can commit a crime like this and get away with it. The evidence obvisouly proves that he did it but yet he got away with it. There was fibers and hair and blood proving that it was him but he is not behind bars.
With all of the evidence collected at the crime scene it is amazing that OJ Simpson was convicted not quilty. With the DNA results matching OJ's DNA, and with Nicole saying that he was going to kill her, it is amazing all of the evidence that was found. I also don't understand why no one did anything when Nicole kept saying that OJ was going to kill her. Also pals of OJ say that OJ said to Nicole if he couldn't have her, no one could. All of the evidence might not have been collected right but the evidence that was should have put him in jail for life.
With all the evidence found O.J. Simpson was found not guilty. This is hard to believe because the DNA evidence proved the five blood drops found by the killers footprints at the crime scene belonged to O.J. also the chances of it belonging to anyone but O.J. are about 170 million to one. There were many other peices of evidence the pointed straight back to O.J. Its crazy that with all the evidence found to prove that he did kill his ex-wife and Ron Goldman he is still not behind bars.
if they think that he is not guilty than that is thir problem, even though the DNA matched his. but they also could have taken different blood samples and mistaken it thinking that is a blood smaple from the murder scene. or they could have just set it up to try and get him in trouble knowing that it would make him look bad and then he would have a bad reputation
the court had proven O.J. innocent even though there were about 100 pieces of evidence that had proven him giulty but he still had gotten away with it but that doesnt mean he isnt guilty because almost everyone KNOWS he is guilty and should have been thrown in jail for life because how can you get away with murder when all of the evidence has your DNA on it
There were 101 peices of evidence that proved O.J. Simpson to be guilty for the murders of Nicole Brown-Simpson & Ron Goldman. It is amazing that with this many peices of evidence O.J. Simpson was proven innocent. They have DNA evidence along with many other types of evidence. Most people would look at the case of O.J. Simpson and think that the jury was crazy for letting him free. It is also kind of scary to know that people can actually get away with murder.
It is funny that OJ was proven not guilty. All the evidence from Nicole saying that OJ is going to kill her to the DNA evidence, he is obviously guilty. But what can one do its over and all we can do now is to learn from it. Nicole Brown said it best with “He's going to kill me and get away with it and charm the world because he's OJ Simpson".
Nicole Brown-Simpson & Ron Goldman murdered so obviously by OJ Simpson yet he got away. It's unbelieveable how OJ got away with so much evidence agaisnt him. I mean they had a dog that didn't attack the killer because it probally new the person, down to DNA results proving OJ must have done everything. Yet there must of been something crooked in this case since he got away cause it is quite obvious he is guilty.
The overwhelming amounts of evidence obviously prove O.J. guilty for murdering Nicole Brown-Simpson and Ron Goldman. Nicole had told many people that O.J. was going to kill her, and the abuse that she received from him were brutal also. Other evidence such as blood EVERYWHERES, basically shows O.Js entire path. After DNA testing it was proven that his blood was found at the crime scene and Nicole's blood was found on his clothing, what more is needed to convict this guy? I cannot believe that O.J got off the hook for the criminal trial. Although he was found guilty during his civil trial, the consequences were not nearly high enough for the crime he committed.
I agree, reviewing the OJ Simpson case there is so much evidence against OJ that it is hard to believe that he was not proven guilty. With over 100 pieces of eviedence pointing out that OJ had commited the crime it is inconceivable how he could get out of it. I liked the quote that Llyod used by Nicole Brown, who said “He's going to kill me and get away with it and charm the world because he's OJ Simpson". There was DNA, blood, hair, fibers, etc. The evidence is overwhelming yet because of the circumstances he was not put behind bars.
there is so much evidence against O.J. he should be in jail. there is plenty of DNA evidence against him. that alone should be enough to put him in jail. beating Nicole should of put him in jail in the first place.
I think the wole reason that The Juice got away with it is because he is a millionaire, had a very good team of defense lawyers, and the prosecution wasn't that good. On a high profile case like that, the prosecution just can't compete. When a man has millions of dollars t spend on a crack team of almost 20 lawyers, goes up against a district attorney that has 2 assistants and $100,000 to play with, there is just absolutly zero chance that he could have been convicted of the murders.
After reading about OJ Simpson, I definately think he is guilty. There's so much evidence that it is almost impossible to think he's not guilty. The blood and hair found matched OJ's, that should be enough evidence to prove him guilty. I think that the fact he had a lot of money helped him out..OJ Simpson should have be convicted guilty!
After reading all of the evidence that the courts have against O.J. Simpson, it just dosen't make sense how they found him not guilty. I think that after all the DNA and evidence that they found against him that he should be put behind bars forever
This case gets me really upset because all the evidence points directly to OJ. They didn't have any other suspects that were pointed to. Someone had to kill those two people and OJ should have been guilty. I can't believe something so obvious can turn around like this. This would be like a innocent person getting the death penalty and the guilty guy still having all his freedom.
I can't understand how come this man, who had so much evidence against him, was able to walk away with a not guilty sentence. The DNA testing in my eyes just supports all the information that Nicole was saying. All the suspicions she was feeling about how she believed OJ could kill her was not just something she could make up...she must have said them for a reason. All the phone calls to 911 and all the side comments that she said to her friends and family. All the bruises that we located on her body from OJ beating her.
The lawyer of the case really did earn the money that he was being paid to defend OJ Simpson. His job was to put suspicion in the people of the jury that OJ was innocent. This man should be rotting in jail. not writing a book on how he should have killed Nicole if he had a second chance to do it again.
This trial was just based on how OJ's lawyer put such a good suspicion in the jury's head that he also starting getting them to question the evidence that was being placed against him. This case was a complete and total joke. It is to bad that someone can't be put on trial again for the same trial because he should have been sentenced to death!
With all the evidence that they had on OJ, i do not see how he got away with the murder. There is something wrong with that picture, if it would have been anyone else i am sure that they would be sitting in jail right now. I have a feeling that there was some sort of deal made with this case because there is no way he could have gotten away with this without any help from the jury or judge.
Walking away not guilty! How is that possible. This retarded, sick minded person was able to walk away with a pat on the back of not being guilty. If it were me, I would say skip the darn judge put me in jail for the rest of my life. How can this person live day in and day out knowing that he did something this stupid? I know I couldn't. I would be rotting inside, my mind would be going crazy. The DNA was there, the proof that this person killed them is there. How could the judge agree with the jury? How could the jury be this stupid to say "we find OJ Simpson not guilty" be right?
First off just all the DNA that lead to him should have put him in jail.
Then hitting a women is enough to put him behind bars.
The lawyer defending him apparently did something to get his money worth. But is it really a good thing? What makes you think he wouldn't do it again? If he does it again will he then walk out a free man again?
It does not make any sense for OJ to get away with the crime, even though nobody can truely say that he did it because he was proven "non guilty". Even though there isn't a single person who believes he is innocent except for possibly Lucas Woodward...it still doesn't make any sense how he was not convicted. With that massive amount of evidence it is not humanly possible for a jury not to be convinced, especially since OJ was wearing a blue sweatsuit and those same fibers were found on Ron Goldman (the dude who died.) Regarding this evidence, the jury must of been paid bucket loads of money to say that he was innocent or they were all OJ football fans who were in love with him. I strongly don't believe that him having to pay 25 grand a month should repay the debt of a lost one to the families of the victims. Money can never repay the death of a family member. Because you could have 1 dollar, or you could have 1 gazillion billion trillion dollars, and that member of the family will still be gone.
O.J. should have been convicted with manslaughter. Too many pieces of evidence was pointing at him. Manslaughter should be life in jail not a $25,000 fine. The jury should not have overlooked the DNA evidence because there was a considerable amount of DNA evidence. Plus all of the fibers found at the scene. O.J. should be sent to jail for life. Money = Power I guess.
It's unbelievable how much evidence was collected and OJ was never proven guilty. If the suspect wasn't a celebrity would this case have turned out differently? I believe it would of, because sadly money does play a part in this. OJ Simpson wasn't found guilty and many people were surprised by that, because everything led to him. I mean even when he was still married to his ex wife, she was afraid of him and for her own life. that strikes a red flag. OJ Simpson should of been found guilty!
I cant believe that he is free and not guilty thats not fair to his ex wife and her greiving family. With the unbelivable evident i would think that he would be behind bars now but instead he's not guilty.
With so many innoccent people on death roe and behind bars for something they didnt even do and they 're there because lack of evidence but some how that lack of evidence prevailed over their honesty. where as for a "hero" like OJ has all the evidence pointing against him and he gets away with it. It seems that he could of even recorded the whole thing and brought it to court with him and played it they would have still said he was notguilty.

While the evidence clearly did show guilt on his part, the prosecutor of the case did a poor job presenting it to the jury. In addition the lead investagator of the case was an admitted racist, which not only hurt the prosecution because OJ is black but because the jury was mostly black. Johnny Cochran did a terrific job exposing holes in the prosecution's cases, and worked magic with the Chewbacca defense. The burden of proof was on the prosecution to show beyond a resonable doubt that OJ did it, and they dropped the ball.
After reading the book "If I Did It" by OJ Simpson, I have personally come to the conclusion that he committed the crime but was not aware of it at the time because of his mental state (anger). The criminal trial results are bogus, and he should have been convicted as the murderer to Nicole and Ron during this trial.
But, I do feel that the civil trial was unfair because the first case had so much publicity that the jurors already formed an opinion whether OJ was innocent or not. Regardless of the results, the civil trial was unfair.
I think that it is pretty ridiculous that he got away. The evidence, motive, witnesses, testimonies, etc, all lead to him. I don't really understand how anyone could think that it was anyone other than him. The fact that Nicole was so scared, that there was so much evidence, the car chase, and even the things he said all pointed right at him. It is absurd that people could actually believe that he didn't do it!
In the Criminal Trial OJ was proved not guilty even after all the evidence they found, including his blood linking him to the crime scene. In the Civil Trial OJ was found guilty for committing the two murders and the only thing that was hurt was his bank account, no jail time. I do not agree with the jury’s decision I believe that OJ should have been treated like any other human being and been put in jail for committing two murders.
Yes there was alot of evidence but I beleive some people were paid off. 1.5 CCs of blood missing from the orginal 8 collected simpson for evidence. CSI's admitting they "forgot" a few drops of blood on the fence. Another saying he didnt use gloves while collecting evidence... To coincidental but I can understand how he got off not guilty. Yes there was only screw ups with some of the evidence but thats all a famous/rich person needs to get off.
The jury was either crazy or paid off or something. It’s really hard for me to believe OJ Simpson didn’t kill Nicole. There was tons of evidence against him. People who were around OJ said he’d had dreamed about killing her, and people around Nicole said she feared OJ would kill her and he wouldn’t be found guilty. Witnesses said they had seen OJ Simpson driving away from her house, and they heard things. OJ’s blood was found at the crime scene next to shoe prints that matched his shoes, which were rare. The investigators even matched the DNA they got from blood to OJ. His own son believed OJ was guilty! I would have never let OJ Simpson walk free if I’d been on the jury.
It's really hard to believe that O.J. Simpson got away with murder. This man should be locked behind bars. They even had DNA results pointing towards him and he still is not guilty. If you have 101 pieces of evidence proving that you committed the crime, it's pretty obvious that you committed the crime. I can't believe there are lawyers out there who would want to defend a man who is clearly guilty of killing his ex wife and Ron Goldman.
He was pronounced not guilty but after looking at all of the evidence, he must of committed the crime. I couldn't imagine what the jury was thinking as they were listening to the case. People still can't understand how O.J Simpson is still left walking after they have a lot of evidence that you would think would lock him up.
Between the mishandled evidence such as missing blood samples, and the blood of Goldman's, Brown's and Simpson's on the glove, this case way mayhem at its best. Along with the added complications of racial discrimination inflated by the media, the case was never straight forward. With all the confusion, it was the best trial to be a celebrity since OJ could afford a good enough lawyer to B.S. him out of a conviction.
Looking at the trails I think there is more than enough physical evidence to put O.J. Simpson in jail for a long time. I think that he got away with the murders because of his status as a highly endorsed athlete.
Wow i cant believe after all the evidence that was found in this case a he was not convicted or anything. It dont make sense how they foound dna prince and they all linked to him but they diddnt have enough evidence that bull. I honestly think this guy should be in jail for what he has done, But i also think that this had to do with money with why he diddnt get convicted this guy has alot of money soo something went wrong there.
I think OJ killed his wife even though he got away with it. All the items they found pointed at OJ. OJ got away with it because he had the money and fame. Money I guess lets you get away with anything.
I think OJ killed his wife. Even thought the evidence they found pointed to OJ. I believe he got away with it because he has a lot of money and he is pretty famous.
If I ever went to trial for killing someone remind me ti call up OJ's lawyer. I'm sure he could get me a not guilty sentence just like he did for OJ. Must be nice for someone to pay a $25,000 fee than serve a life sentence for killing his wife and another man. It is crazy to think that this man got away from rightly deserved punishment. In my opinion all the evidence was pointing ti OJ. From the DNA evidence to the fibers and all the way from the shoes and shoe print to the accusations of Nicole confiding in friends that oJ was going to kill her. it is beyond me as to why he could get away with murder. But you know what they say, money is everything.
In this day and age, with the technology at our fingertips it is nearly impossible to let a guilty man walk. After looking over the mountain of evidence brought forth against O.J Simpson in this trial it is almost a joke that he was found not guilty. From his own DNA found at the crime scene to the high speed Bronco chase to avoid questioning, I think if i was O.J's attorney i may have just given up. The prosecution from the clip on youtube presented the case very well when presenting the large amount of incriminating evidence. I think the problem in the case was the jury. Every member knew who O.J Simpson, in fact everyone in America knew who O.J Simpson was, a star football player and i believe let him go because of his big fame and public image as a nice guy and an All-American. This case really looked bad for the U.S judicial system and is almost a joke today.
The mass amount of evidence proves O.J guilty of the murder of Nicole Brown-Simpson and Ron Goldman. Nicole had already told people that O.J was going to kill her. He was already said to have brutally abused her. More evidence such as the blood everywhere with DNA testing it was proven some was his and some of Nicole's was found on his clothing. I can't believe that O.J was found innocent during one trial and innocent during the other. The sentencing was not severe enough for the crimes that too obviously took place.
After viewing the OJ Simpson trial it is hard to believe that he got away innocent when all the evidence found pretty much proves he was guilty. Not only does the evidence suggest he did it but Nicole reportedly told that OJ was abusive and violent. Another thing I just find ridiculous that OJ wasn't found guilty is that he evaded the police after the murders which clearly shows he was trying to get away and was afraid of being caught. I find it a pathetic decision made by the court and jury.
I don't put a lot of stock into the forensic aspect of the the case against O.J. Simpson. I believe he probably did it but the forensic evidence loses a bunch of credibility when you consider the source. Racism and corruption within the LAPD was at an all time high in the 1990's and while Johnie Cochran has a negative reputation in some circles for defending O.J., his work in throughout his career specifically against the LAPD really diminished their credibility. Mr. Doucette spoke to us in class about always the jury taking the officers word well in 1995 in Los Angeles you'd understand if a jury consisting of nine African Americans and one Hispanic are a little cynical. Mark Furhman ruined his credibility when he denied using racial epithets to describe African Americans but was caught on tape saying Nigger 41 times. Furhman had a land standing history of police brutality and racism so I find it pretty convenient that he found blood at O.J.'s house and the bloody glove. I'm not trying to deny O.J Simpson is guilty, I just don't want to convict him based on quotes attributed to "pals."
It is utterly ridiculous that they have all this information and probative evidence against him, but yet they say he goes off as not guilty. I mean, what could the jury and the judge think when they were being shown all this evidence? There are a hundred and one pieces of evidence that proves he is guilty. Obviously it was OJ that murdered his wife. All the fingers point to him so to speak. Plus as the saying goes, "If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and talks like a duck.. then it must be a duck." Obviously OJ is the Duck.
O.J. Simpson got off on the criminal trial even though there was overwhelming evidence against him. I'm gonna bet that he bribed a few people to get off. He had a civil trial though and he was forced to pay damages to the families.
I most definitely believe that OJ Simpson is guilty. There was a lot of fiber that was found to prove that he was guilty. Houseguest Kato Kaelin, stated that he saw Simpson wearing a dark blue suit that matched the fibers they found on victim Rod Goldman's shirt. There was also Simpson's hair found on Goldman's shirt. Also, there was DNA testing and blood that was found at the scene of the crime, that definitely proves Simpson to be guilty. Another piece of evidence that was found, was Simpson's shoe print. There is tons of evidence that is enough to prove OJ Simpson completely guilty, and he should of been put in jail rather than paying a fine.
With all of the DNA testing and the blood found at the murder scene that matched up to OJ Simpson's leads me to the obvious. He is a guilty man. Guilty for killing his ex-wife, guilty for killing Ron Goldman. I think the trial he attended and the evidence against OJ are absolutely insulting the the most outrageous thing I have ever heard. As if, after all the evidence in both trials, he is innocent. The people in the jury must have all been bumbling idiots to not throw OJ Simpson behind bars, when they had the chance. The court messed up in the trial they had to put OJ in jail. But, by the second time they called upon him to court, it was too late. The court was unable to try OJ by attempting to send him to jail twice. They did though, win the second trial, which was finally done the right way. The court should have waited before they brought OJ to court to send him to jail, because they didn't have all the pieces to his puzzle. (As if 100 pieces aren't enough. I still don't get that.) They had all the evidence pointing toward OJ, but the jury was just too blind to see the sign over OJ's head that screamed “I AM GUILTY!” It is incredible that the lawyers and court did succeed in getting a good lump sum of money out of him, the second time he was brought to court. Money won't buy the lives that OJ Simpson killed. It's not good enough for him to just have to pay his way out of two murders. I can't believe after all the probative evidence against OJ Simpson that he was not thrown behind bars for the rest of his life.
The case of OJ Simpson is an interesting bit of US judicial history. A person cannot be tried for the same crime more then once and be sent to jail. This is why after winning the first case he was able to roam the streets free. The list of 101 pieces of evidence might be stretching it a bit, but the evidence for him to be innocent is barren. How he won the trial is shocking but it was the juries decision and they felt it was the right one at the time. They will have to live with the decision they made. The second jury however had a much different view and unanimously found him guilty. The overwhelming pile of physical and DNA evidence was to much for him to escape twice.
There were many pieces of evidence that pointed directly to OJ Simpson. The blood was even found to have been his, fibers were found, it all pointed to him. Yet he was found innocent? I believe him having been a celebrity with the power to hire the best lawyers worked to his advantage. OJ should be behind bars considering all signs pointed to him being guilty.
With all the DNA evidence that was found at the crime scene and in OJ's vehicle it is impossible to think that he is innocent. They found blood on OJ's sock that belonged to Nicole! How do you explain that? There were fibers found at the scene that were on a hat he was wearing and some that belonged in his vehicle. They know it was his hat because they matched his hairs with ones found in the hat. Now why do you not ask any questions about your ex-wifes murder? Again that is really odd. Why does someone by a false beard and mustache out of the blue? It does not make sense. Nicole Brown told people that she thought that OJ was going to murder her and made preparations in the event of her death. You don't do stuff like tht as a joke. With all this evidence OJ should have been found guilty.
with all the evidence against OJ he should have been thrown in jail in a heart beat. i think the jury and/or his lawer must have been givin alot of money or something else must have went down that the public does not no of.
When the trail began when he was trying the gloves on he was acting like it didn't fit well it did so what the evidence show was alot there was his dna and every thing that was the facts and also he was not guilty and when i saw the first trail he didn't look good like he was drinking then the second trail he was looking good so I think he did because of the facts so i think he should go to jail then it hit so hard that he was not guilty so who is it to blame him or the jury that want i think so heck with this, this was all wrong too me
in the O.J. Simpson's there was evidence collected that proved that he was guilty, there was DNA that was at the crime scene, with all the evidence that was collected its is hard to believe that he was found not guilty.
o.j should have been put behind bars. their was plenty of evidence their to do so. i cant believe he got a way with the crime. it might be possible the evidence was tampered with at least that's what i am thinking. the only thing he has to do is pay a 25,000 dollar fine and i am sure that being the big celebrity he is that the money will be no problem
It is unbelievable that OJ was not guilty for the murder of his Ex-wife and Goldman. He obviously did it. Whoever gave him the not guilty sentence is either A) a freakin idiot, B) A sick freak or C) being paid of by OJ. There was so much of OJ's DNA all over the crime scene. He is, I have to say, a pretty messy killer. Honestly 101 types of evidence! The dog didn't attack the killer, so obviously he knew him. He walked out of the crime scene. And he has pathetic alibis and didn't even care his wife was did. I still can't believe with all that evidence he's not guilty.
Personally, it makes me sick to think that in our society, those who have a lot of money and power can literally get away with murder. This however is exactly what happened with the O.J. Simpson trials. At the Criminal Trial he was found not guilty, which is just ridiculous. There were 101 and pieces of evidence pointing against him, and even if all of those pieces weren't individualized evidence, there was definitely still enough pointing against him. I have to wonder if now, the members of the jury feel guilty for letting a murderer walk free. In the Civil Court, he did however have to pay money to the families of those that he killed, but still...no amount of money could ever give those families their loved ones back. The only thing that I can say is that part of me hopes that there is more to this trial than we all know about, and that the jury had a very good reason as to why they didn't see him as guilty. Otherwise, they are just as guilty as him.
The Criminal trial determined that he was not guilty after insurmountable evidence was shown showing that he murdered Ms Brown and Mr. Goldman. One theory suggests that because he was a famous black man and the jury was all black people, that it was the jury's fault that OJ was not convicted of the murders. The civil case on the other hand had said that he had committed the murders and had to pay a lump sum of money. The amount of evidence that Simpson had pinned on him was remarkable and the jury's inability to recognize he guilty deeds shows that something unknown to the public must have happened to the jury, or that the Jury knew and did not want to convict a famous person for a double homicide.
The trial proved him not guilty, for the murders, yet guilty in the civil trail. With all the evidence against him I don't understand why the jury found him innocent. There was plenty of DNA evidence and witness account to put him behind bars. To make things worse he only had to pay for his actions, which is not a big deal because he had the money to spare. OJ should be punished.
The trial of OJ Simpson didn't need to carry on as long as it did. All the evidence had pointed toward him. The blood and fibers were found. How can you fight DNA testing to not be someones? And it doesn't help the fact that he is a huge celebrity, and used all his money & power to get what he wanted everyone to hear. Bribing money could've been a possibly to get the best lawyers out there. I believe he should be in jail.
It is simply appalling that OJ got away with that murder. Just on the blood evidence alone, there's only one out of 57 billion chance that Simpson is innocent. Fifty-seven billion is approximately 10 times the current population of the entire world. The jury should have convicted tim there is very little to no evidence he didn’t do the only hour he didn’t have an alibi for was the hour of the murder. I strongly feel the trials were rigged and that the jury made the wrong decision. He even wrote a book called If I Did It. Oj is a sick sick man who should have been convicted an put in jail. This trial proves to me that money talks and if you can get the best lawyer you can get away with anything.

OJ Simpson was not found guilty but it is pretty obvious he did the crime. Nicole told people that she thought OJ was going to kill her. He had also abused her. At the crime scene they found a footprint from OJ's shoes. There was only 299 size 12 Bruno Magli shoes in the US. OJ just happened to own one of those pairs. At OJ's house they find blood in his bathroom. Just on the blood evidence alone, there's only one out of 57 billion chance that Simpson is innocent. How more obvious could it be that OJ committed this murder. I think the jury was paid to make OJ a free man.
OJ Simpson definitely shouldn't of gotten away with something as serious as this case. All the evidence is there right in front of everyone and he still got away with it. I think that if he wasn't a celebrity the case would've been looked at a lot differently. Even though he had to pay money to the family that was affected, no amount of money will bring someone back from the dead. There was 101 pieces of evidence collected from this crime scene which means that there was enough evidence to prove this man guilty.
When looking at stories from different times, it seems that there are a a lot of people who are behind bars because of similar cases as OJ. As an individual that has researched the OJ Simpson case, it is obvious that this man should have been guilty, money or not!!
I think it's ridiculous that O.J Simpson was not thrown in jail or sentenced the death penalty. There is an overwhelming amount of evidence that shows that he did it. The trial lasted 133 days which aloud time for O.J's "Dream Team" to plant seeds of doubt in the juries mind of the Criminal Trail. Obviously it worked because after the jury deliberated for only three hours they decided he was not guilty of the murder of these two people. In the Civil Case the judge didn't let O.J's defense team paint pretty pictures of O.J, instead the trial went quickly, the jury deliberated for 19 hours and they convicted him of Wrongfully Committing the two acts of murder. He had to pay 8.5 million in compensatory damages and 25 million in punitive damages. He payed money, ya, but is that really punishment for killing the women he married and another grown man. It's ridiculous that O.J got off and shows the power of a good defense team and the power of being a celebrity.
The first trial, the criminal trial, proved OJ not guilty. After a myriad of evidence was found proving him guilty he was not proven guilty because "the glove did not fit" It is unbelievable to me that jury thought that he wasn't guilty after all the evidence, just because of one little thing. There was DNA evidence at the crime scene and he still got away. At the civil case he was found guilty but at a civil case he could only be fined and not sentenced to jail time. This to me is absolutely insane. It is unrighteous that a murder was set free when he was clearly guilty.
I frankly just don't understand how OJ was not prosecuted. There is so much evidence against him, it really doesn't make sense. He had beat her several times before the murder, which certainly doesn't point to his innocence. It is pretty clear to me that he killed his ex-wife, as well as Ron Goldman. The fact that he was indifferent to the fact that his wife was dead, and didn't bother to ask if his children were alright. One of the confessions that really struck me as obvious was the fact that Nicole's mother heard OJ saying "I loved you too much" to her casket. I think it's really, really messed up that he was proven not guilty.
The trial proves that O.J was not guilty, Even if DNA results proved that it must of been him that commuted the crime. But with all the blood found and the black gloves found they should have been able to catch him. They should have put the glove on him themselves because he was saying they didn't fit him.
Personally, with all the evidence against O.J, it's hard not to believe he killed his wife, i think he did do it, but i think he got away with it was because he was wealthy, and maybe he paid the judge,or the jurors? you never know, because there is so much evidence pointing to him, and there really aren't any other suspects- so i think it had to do with how famous and wealthy he was.
The civil case was only asking for him to pay the family, no jail time though. He has plenty of money, so i don't think this was a problem for him.
With all kinds of evidence found against him, O.J. Simpson was still found not guilty. There was alot of DNA evidence proving blood drops found by the killer at the crime scene belonged to O.J.. There were many other peices of evidence the pointed straight back to O.J. He has gotten away with murder and made the courts believe he did nothing wrong. Nothing much proved him not guilty in this case there is good reasoning to believe he bought his way out of going to jail.
After every piece of evidence, from the hair found on OJ's glove to the bloody footprint, OJ should have been found guilty. There were warning signs everywhere proving that he was the one who committed the murders and still not guilty. Nicole even warned all of her family and friends that he would kill her and even after the fibers and OJ's blood being found on the crime scene they still haven't done anything. He should be in jail for the rest of his life. He should have been found guilty.
I think its really obvious that OJ killed his wife. And even thought there were a few things that were not able to be used in court, its still overly obvious that he killed her. especially since he has no alliby for only the time of the murder, and someone was ringing his buzzer for 20 minutes (while murder would have been occuring) and then he sees a shadow go back into the house and OJ answers the door shortly after that.
OJ Simpson got away with murder, so much evidence pointed right to him. His blood was found there just that should be enough to prove him guilty but they had more evidence hair found on the gloves and the boots where only very few were made and he had a pair.he should of been convicted
It is so obvious that OJ killed his wife. There was even hints that came from his own mouth such as him saying "I didnt mean to do it". Fibers and hairs were found along with DNA that matched OJ's. Whoever the jury was must have been fans of his, because any normal person would have seen that he was obviously guilty.
After all the overwhelming evidence submitted to the jury, it is unbelievable that O.J. Simpson was proven not guilty and able to walk away a free man. With all the DNA evidence, the hour that he did not have a alibi, and the billion to one odds that it wasn't him, it should have been without a doubt in all the jurors minds that he was guilty. The fact that he is not guilty shows that there is a loop hole in the Court system that needs to be fixed. O.J. Simpson is and should have been proven Guilty.
With the amount of evidence i do not understand how O.J. got away with it. it was very clear the he murdered his wife everything pointed directly to him.
With all the evidence pointing directly to O.J Simpson, it is amazing that he was able to get away with the murder. His wife made it clear that he wanted to kill her, but in the end he still got away with it, it doesn't make sense. O.J should have been found not guilty.
With all the evidence that has been proven, DNA testing that was O.J's. It was clearly him. Who in their right mind could think he didn't do it? Everything added up and it directly pin pointed him. There was way to much evidence to not make it seem that it wasn't him. He shouldn't have gotten away with it and he should have been thrown into jail with a life sentence.
I believe that he did commit the crime. For there to be so much evidence I can't understand why he was not convicted.
I find it wrong that all the evidence from the crime scene could not have helped the jury convict him to life in prison because with all the dna evidence they had they still said he was innocent and let him walk a free man able to harm who he pleases. He should have been convicted guilty.
It is absolutely unbelievable that O. J. Simpson was considered not guilty for the murder of Nicole Simpson. All odds were against him and all evidence linked to him. Why the jurors did not convict him for the murder I will never understand. This proves that there is no perfect law system. With all the DNA evidence he should have been proven guilty. He should have been proven guilty and sentenced to life in prison or the death sentence. It was clear that he wanted to kill her, which he did and got away with it. His book written about how he would have killed her if he had is only another link pointing towards his guilt. It is to bad we could not try him again for her murder!
After all the evidence that was found at the crime scene and after the witness testimonies it is hard to believe that OJ Simpson got away with manslaughter. All the evidence and witness statements pointed towards OJ Simpson.
At the criminal trial O.J. Simpson was proven not guilty. At the civil trial he did have to pay the families of the ones he killed, and was again proven not guilty. This case was absurd. Despite all the evidence proving that he did indeed murder his wife and her friend, he was not placed in prison. There was some mishandled evidence, but even then there was enough evidence to prove him guilty. I think there must have been some things behind the scenes that the public doesn't know about that ended this case the way it did.
I cant believe after all the evidence that was found in this case he was not convicted or anything. It doesnt make sense how they found dna and they all linked to him but they didn't have enough evidence; thats dumb. I honestly think this guy should be in jail for what he has done, But i also think that this had to do with money with why he didn't get convicted. This guy has alot of money soo something went wrong there.
Oj Simpson was found not guilty, even tho they had evidence proving him guilty. DNA matched. Some people say it's because the jury were his peers. He was highly looked up to for being an actor and people liked him a lot. I think that if you have the money you have the authority.
As a forensic science student I do feel that fingerprint identification would be a good addition to a person's identity. This would make things much more secure and reduce the amount of identity thefts and other common identification problems. It would be much more secure for crossing international borders, flying on planes, making purchases, etc. this would also allow every persons fingerprint to be a data base making it easier to catch criminals. This could cause problems such as when a person burns or hurts their fingers, and it may simply be annoying to constantly scan fingerprints, but it would be much more secure than things are today. September 11,2001 has definitely made an impact on situations such as these. People and governments are becoming more paranoid and taking more precautions involving identities. Other events such as 9/11 including bombings and other acts of terrorism are causing the government to take drastic measures to ensure safety of the public.
